What is the difference between different models of Strada?
Posted by Charlotte @ The Roof Box Company on 07 December 2016 11:17 AM

There are a number of different models of Strada available and there is something available to suit most bikes and vehicles. The most popular is the Strada DL (2603) because it will take up to four bikes and slides away from the vehicle to give more room to open the tailgate, even on many vehicles with a vertical tailgate. The Vario and Evo racks also have this feature.

Some models will take heavier and electric bikes (the E-bike, Sport, Vario and Evo ranges).

The Vario folds in on itself for storage.

The Evo and Vario have other features that make the bikes easier to fit, e.g. detachable bike arms and a larger upright make it easier to fit your bikes. They also have better looking lights.

The table below shows the differences between the different models of Strada:

Please could you advise me the difference between model AR2684 and AR2686. We have two electric bikes approx 18kg each. Both would be loaded without the batteries, so no difference in width. Just trying to work out which to buy as both specs appear to be very similar.

The only difference between the 2684 and 2686 is that the 2686 E-Bike M has a bigger distance between the bike trays (23cm vs 18cm) so you get more space to load your bikes.
